Amazon Fresh Grocery Associate

Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour

Schedule & Availability:

• Part-Time: Minimum 3 days/week, including Saturday and Sunday

• Anytime Role: Minimum of 4 hours/week; availability required any day from Sunday to Saturday

• Shifts: Between 4 a.m. and 12 a.m., up to 8 hours per shift

• Training: May require up to 40 hours/week during training; compensation provided at standard rate

As an Amazon Fresh Grocery Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional in-store shopping experience. You'll engage with customers, assist in various departments, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Greet customers, engage in conversations, and assist with shopping needs

• Product Knowledge: Recommend products and help customers make informed decisions

• Checkout Operations: Operate registers and assist in self-checkout areas

• Return Processing: Handle in-store and Amazon.com returns

• Fresh Food Preparation: Prepare items like salads, pizzas, sandwiches, and rotisserie chickens

• Store Presentation: Stock shelves, maintain displays, and ensure a clean sales floor

• Inventory Management: Unload and organize deliveries in the stockroom

• Order Fulfillment: Pick items to fulfill online grocery orders for pickup/delivery

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English to safely perform duties

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of customer service experience

Working Conditions:

• Able to lift up to 49 lbs

• Able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift

Compensation Notice:

Base pay ranges from $15.50/hr to $21.75/hr, depending on geographic location and experience. Additional compensation, including equity or bonuses, may be offered as part of Amazon’s total compensation package.
