As an essential team member in the Frito-Lay organization, the role of a Retail Route Merchandiser is crucial in the distribution, sales, and presentation of the renowned snack items such as Lay's, Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Fritos, and various others to various nearby outlets like supermarkets, fuel stations, and discount shops. The position requires autonomy, driving a Frito-Lay vehicle, and acting as the primary representative of the brand to both retailers and consumers.
What You'll Do:
- Transport and display Frito-Lay goods at nearby stores for sale
- Operate a Frito-Lay delivery truck as it navigates through a specific course
- Remove items from inventory and replenish shelves and showcases
- Establishing solid connections with store managers is essential for expanding product exposure and boosting sales
- Monitor the progress of deliveries, sales, and inventory during your daily operations
- Engage in nationwide sales efforts and marketing promotions
- Take over the routes of fellow team members and gain exposure to a variety of store environments
- Participate in a comprehensive onboarding course lasting between four to six weeks that covers instruction on operating vehicles, sales techniques, and displaying merchandise
- Ensure that the work environment is tidy, well-structured, and secure
Schedule & Work Conditions:
- Changes in scheduling that may require working on weekends and holidays
- Physical labor involves tasks such as prolonged standing, walking, carrying loads up to 40 pounds, and unloading objects regularly

Minimum Qualifications:
- Those who wish to enter must be no less than 21 years of age
- A legitimate driver's license along with insurance coverage is required
- The capacity to acquire extra permits in accordance with state regulations
- Capable of lifting 40 pounds regularly, with or without the need for a reasonable adjustment
- Able to endure extended periods of physical exertion without difficulty
