Amazon Warehouse Clerk

As a Warehouse Clerk at Amazon, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the warehouse through administrative and logistical tasks. This position combines hands-on organization with clerical duties to ensure inventory accuracy, smooth coordination of shipments, and overall efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory

• Enter and update data in Amazon’s warehouse management systems

• Prepare and process shipping labels and related documentation

• Track and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments

• Assist in performing inventory audits and cycle counts

• Support warehouse teams by organizing paperwork and updating logs

• Communicate with delivery carriers and internal teams to resolve issues

• Help ensure warehouse compliance with safety and operational standards

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior experience in a warehouse, inventory, or administrative role preferred

• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, and data entry systems)

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics or supply chain environment

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting (may be climate-controlled or variable depending on location)

• Standing, walking, and light lifting may be required

• May involve exposure to standard warehouse noise and activity levels

Schedule and Shifts
