Amazon Sortation Center Warehouse Associate

Join our team at an Amazon Sortation Center where you’ll play a key role in sorting, scanning, and stacking packages on pallets to help get customer orders ready for delivery. This position offers flexible, mostly part-time shifts so you can choose work hours that fit your lifestyle and adjust your schedule as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive and sort inventory accurately

• Prepare customer orders for delivery

• Use technology such as scanners, computers, and handheld printers

• Lift packages up to 49 pounds safely

• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts

• Operate carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items

• Navigate stairs and work at heights of up to 40 feet when required

Work Environment:

• You’ll work around moving machines like order pickers, forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts

• The role involves both standing for long periods and active movement such as walking and climbing stairs

• Temperatures vary between 60°F to over 90°F in some areas, including truck yards and trailers

• Noise levels can be high; hearing protection is available when needed

• Dress code is relaxed but safety is a priority—closed-toe shoes and protective footwear are required in some areas. Amazon provides a $110 Zappos gift code to purchase shoes for your first day
